Success Through Training, Tools, and Accountability
At Blu, we take accountability seriously. Before anyone can be held accountable, they must first:

- Receive proper training on their job requirements
- Be equipped with the right tools
Each employee is provided with an ETA (Expectations, Training, and Accountability) document at the start of any new job. This ensures they are fully prepared and aligned with expectations. The same document is used for performance evaluations, so there are no surprises—just clear, transparent communication from day one.


The Foundation of Success: Orientation at Blu Facility
At Blu, we begin every team member’s journey with the most important event of their career—Orientation. This crucial step ensures that each team member understands our vision, mission, and leadership principles. By aligning with these values, they gain a deeper sense of purpose and clarity, which empowers them to foster positive interactions with colleagues and provide exceptional experiences for our customers.
During orientation, we thoroughly review our Employee Handbook, covering key topics such as dress code, safety, and customer conduct. Designed to protect both our team and customers, the handbook serves as a foundation for creating a respectful and professional environment. We also dive into specific customer expectations, sharing key lessons learned to help prevent potential issues and promote a seamless experience for everyone involved.
Classroom Training
At Blu, we provide hands-on classroom training to equip our team members with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. This includes instruction on job-specific tools, safety protocols, best practices, and customer requirements. Employees are also trained to use our remote software for timecards, customer reports, and data collection.
Our training program covers Blu’s ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, ensuring team members understand our rigorous processes, communication protocols, and escalation procedures. We emphasize how each role contributes to our company’s mission, ensuring a cohesive approach that delivers the Blu level of service to all customers.


On The Job Training
At Blu, all employees receive on-the-job training through a mentorship program, pairing them with a senior team member and working closely with the area supervisor. The supervisor ensures consistent training methods, reviews customer expectations, and tracks progress. Their work is closely monitored, and training continues until they’ve completed their training checklist. Once they meet all requirements and demonstrate proficiency, the supervisor signs off, confirming they are ready to handle the job independently.
Continual Learning and Career Advancement
At Blu, we prioritize ongoing education to ensure our team members are always growing and advancing in their careers. As they progress through their roles, team members are encouraged to expand their knowledge and skills. Blu supports their advancement through learning gateways, preparing them for new opportunities as they arise. This process helps us develop the next generation of leaders, supported by career assessments to ensure the right fit for each role. After completing online training and gaining hands-on experience, a final assessment is conducted to identify any areas for improvement or additional skills needed before moving to the next level.
