Blu Facility provides expert cleaning services to a wide range of commercial customers including medical facilities, manufacturing plants, office buildings, car dealerships, banks and credit unions, high-security facilities, and more.

Expert Clean Room Services

We offer expert cleaning services for ISO 8 (100K) and ISO 7 (10K) clean rooms, including ceilings, walls, floors, gowning areas, and pass-throughs. With the right equipment, procedures, and trained personnel, we ensure your facility remains compliant with industry standards.

For businesses expanding into medical manufacturing, we provide comprehensive janitorial support, including daily employee sign-offs for compliance audits. Our team is trained in proper gowning procedures, from rubber gloves to hood and boot coverage, to maintain strict cleanroom standards.

We also ensure all equipment entering clean rooms is either pre-cleaned or dedicated to that environment. Sticky mats are regularly replaced and tracked by number, ensuring they are changed per shift or at designated intervals for optimal cleanliness.

Day Porter Services

We offer customizable day porter services for customers who prefer early morning cleaning or require ongoing cleaning throughout the day and evening. Our day porters are available to clean offices, break rooms, and restrooms, as well as operate auto scrubbers in manufacturing plants, all while ensuring your facility stays in top condition.

Porters are scheduled based on your specific needs and operational hours. Please note, to optimize efficiency and account for travel time, we require a minimum of two hours per visit.

Window Cleaning

We offer comprehensive window cleaning, both interior and exterior, with a focus on providing spotless results. For exterior windows, we use the HiFlo De-Ionization System by Unger, which produces pure water, free of soot and chemicals, leaving windows and sills perfectly clean without spots or streaks. The system’s waterfed poles allow us to clean windows up to three floors, and specialized brushes ensure every surface and angle is thoroughly addressed.

For interior windows, we use a traditional squeegee system and carefully damp clean window sills to ensure no mess is left behind. We take great care to protect surrounding walls and surfaces during the cleaning process.

The HiFlo De-Ionization system is also effective for cleaning external block glass and glass canopies. If you have unique or challenging glass structures, our team is happy to assess and provide a tailored cleaning solution.

Hard Surface Floor Care & Maintenance

We offer expert maintenance for a variety of floor types, ensuring they remain clean, protected, and visually appealing. Our services include:

• Vinyl Floors:
  • No-Wax Floors: Designed for minimal maintenance but may need periodic machine scrubbing if mopping no longer provides adequate cleaning. This service is at an additional cost.
  • Stripping & Waxing: We strip and wax vinyl floors, including baseboards (which should never be waxed). Our process includes removing old wax, cleaning baseboards, and applying 4 thin coats of wax for long-lasting shine and protection.
  • Scrub & Recoat: For cost savings and environmental benefits, we offer scrub & recoat services after 3-12 months, depending on foot traffic. This service removes the top two layers of wax and applies two fresh coats.
• Faux Wood Floors:
  • Machine Scrubbing with a soft pad, followed by a protective coating for faux wood surfaces. If preferred, a low-gloss wax finish can be applied.
• Wood Floors:
  • Sanding and Coating or Screening and Coating services are provided in partnership with a specialized subcontractor to achieve professional results.
• Specialty & Rubber Floors:
  • Specialty Floors: We adhere to manufacturer guidelines, particularly for LEED-certified buildings, to ensure warranties are maintained.
  • Rubber Floors: These are scrubbed with a soft pad and treated with a specialized coating to prevent cracking, maintain elasticity, and provide a shiny finish.
• Ceramic Tile Floors:
  • Restorative Clean & Strip: We use specialized equipment to deep clean and strip ceramic tile floors, ensuring both tile and grout are thoroughly restored.
  • Grout Cleaning & Sealing: After cleaning, we seal the grout to prevent absorption of spills, without altering the appearance of the tile.
  • No Waxing: Ceramic tile floors should never be waxed, as wax can cause wear and peeling at the edges of tiles. Removing wax can also be challenging. We focus on cleaning and sealing for long-lasting protection.

Restroom Cleaning and Stocking

At Blu we ensure a healthy environment by following proper disinfectant dwell time to effectively kill bacteria. Our trained staff focuses on reducing the spread of germs by thoroughly cleaning high-touch areas like toilets, urinals, handles, and other surfaces.

Our restroom cleaning includes:

• Sanitizing: Toilets, urinals, sinks, dispensers, mirrors, stainless steel, and floors.
• Detailed Cleaning: Walls, vents, stalls, floorboards, drains, and locker areas.
• Sustainability: We use microfiber cloths instead of paper products for cleaning, contributing to environmental sustainability.

We also keep restrooms stocked with:

• Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps, sanitizers, and air fresheners.

Flexible Scheduling: Restroom cleaning and restocking services can be customized to fit your needs, whether daily, multiple times a day, or on-demand.

Cafeterias and Break Rooms

We ensure your cafeteria and break room are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, creating a hygienic space for employees. Our services include:

• Disinfecting Surfaces: Tables, counters, backsplashes, sinks, and faucet handles.
• Sinks: Cleaned daily with Crème Cleanser to remove stains and prevent lime/calcium buildup.
• Appliance & Furniture Cleaning: Wipe down chairs, cupboards, and the exterior of appliances. Refrigerators cleaned on request.
• Additional Areas: Vending machines, window sills, dispensers, water coolers, and floors are all cleaned regularly.
• Final Touches: Chairs are pushed in, and the room is left neat and presentable.

Office Cleaning

Our comprehensive office cleaning services cover all areas to ensure a clean, professional environment. We clean the tops of cubicle walls, cubicle cupboard fronts, desks, and chairs (including the backs). We also clean vents, pictures, walls, copiers, printers, and other office equipment. Conference tables and display cabinets are wiped down, ensuring everything is tidy.

Additionally, our staff cleans the inside and outside of all entry glass, as well as the sills and foyer floors. Reception areas are given special attention, with cleaning of reception desks and chairs, and all reception furniture. Finally, we make sure any reading materials on tables are neat and presentable.

Manufacturing Facility Cleaning

Our manufacturing cleaning services include the cleaning of bathrooms, break rooms, and manufacturing offices as well as the cleaning of industrial sinks (stainless steel or stone). We ensure safety by adhering to OSHA guidelines, with our employees wearing safety glasses in production areas and not crossing yellow aisle lines.  We also provide regular use of scrubbers to maintain cleanliness in the manufacturing aisles.

Auto-scrubbing and Auto-sweeping Floors

We use a variety of auto scrubbers to meet the needs of different environments, with or without pads, to keep your floors clean. Our auto scrubbers are regularly used for daily cleaning, particularly in high-traffic areas. These machines can be a significant investment, ranging from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars, and our pricing reflects the cost of this equipment.

Auto scrubbers are particularly effective for cement floors and other hard surfaces that experience heavy foot traffic, helping to maintain cleanliness with minimal effort.

Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Services

At Blu, we provide a variety of carpet cleaning solutions, including steam extraction (with walk-behind machines or wands) and dry foam cleaning. We focus on ensuring that carpets are rinsed thoroughly to remove all soap residue, as leftover soap can attract dirt and cause carpets to soil faster. For security purposes, we use self-contained equipment instead of truck-mounted units, ensuring your building remains secure during the cleaning process.

We also offer customizable carpet maintenance programs, tailored to your needs:

• Monthly: Spot cleaning carpets to maintain a fresh appearance.
• Quarterly: Cleaning high-traffic areas such as entrances, halls, and conference rooms, with less frequent cleaning for offices.
• Annual: Full carpet cleaning scheduled once or twice a year, based on customer preferences and foot traffic.

Additionally, we provide upholstery cleaning using steam extraction machines designed specifically for fabrics. When we clean chairs or couches, we also wipe down all arms and legs of the furniture. Billing is based on the number of completed chairs.
